My hitch never comes out either. To heavy for me to play with and haven't really found any need to. Looking at some specialty tool boxes that 800toolbox.com makes just for fifth wheel trucks. One goes just in front of tailgate and is low enough that pin clears it and the other they will make bed height or any height you want to clear the Roll n Lock.
Aluminum Diamond Plate or flat finish.

I have the Curt/Ram 20k on mine and have had no problems. My new GK is still slightly lighter than my old 36RE.

My hitch comes out every fall. If you pull the head first, then the base, it's pretty easy to lift out.

OK I am getting ready to order the hitch. Performance-wise from everything I see on the net and from you all here, both the Curt24 and B&W25 are both good units.
The one thing I notice as a difference between the two is the adjustment heights. Curt 13-17" and B&W 17-19" Also see the Reese is also different aat 15 3/4-18 1/4"
Truck is a 2015 Ram 2500 Dually 4x4 that will be hauling a RW39MB. Will I have height/level adjustment issues with either? $260 difference in pricing

The height was my biggest obstacle and the reason I did the OEM Reese. With the Trailair Tri-glide pin box, I could not stack anything any higher or my bumper in the back would be dragging. I adjusted all the way down on the hitch, and the triglide all the way up, and I'm just level.

I have the B&W hitch for the Ram puck system. Was slightly nose high with the hitch at its lowest position but the air bag on the trailair pin was at its maximum pressure when I bought my unit used. The local dealer advised to let a few pounds out and it is amazing how she went perfectly level. I have probably 8 inches or more clearance with the bed rails as well. Very, very stout hitch and heavy. Installed myself for about $1,100. By the way I have never seen a 2500 Ram dually. Was that a special order?

So with the Ford you are set at the bottom with the Reese (15.75").
So if all was equal, Ram to Ford, the Curt would fit the bill the best and the B&W would be completely unusable.
Anyone with a Ram 3500 and the B&W have level problems?
RomanyLife,GA1817 ???

The unit I am getting has the factory air already installed and figured I could get around it that way. I just never like to be at the min or max of any limit if I can avoid it. I do like the B&W design just a bit more than the Curt.

For mine yes, all the way down. The B&W would have left me a bit nose high and no adjustment to bring it down.
I agree on the air bag - when we left the Dealer my nose was sticking up to the sky it seemed, (2 trucks and hitches ago) and I was worried I was going to have to do some major fixes to level it out. About 100 miles out I realized the Dealer must have pumped that bag all the way up to test it, because it never moved going down the road. I let air out to the arrows and the nose dropped right down. However, as said, that was a different truck and hitch.

I know the feeling. I love the B&W hitch as it is one stout hitch. It has worked flawlessly for me but I understand your concerns on height. There are others on the site that are Ram owners and use the B&W so hopefully they will chime in.

I think RomanyLife and Steve/Char run the B&W in Fords, but I don't know which pin box they have.

Anybody want to weigh in on the Curt? Will I be just as happy with that as the B&W? It does save about $250

I have the B & W with the puck system in my 2015 F350 and couldn't be happier. The ride and appearance is very level and I have the pivot arms in the lowest position.

Jim, do you have the Tri-glide? That's where all my height came from.
Maybe I over analyzed, but that was my reason for going to the Reese.

My unit is ordered with the same triglide. I also tend to over analyze. On another note I just finalized the purchase on our new baby.

Oh Yeah...almost like it was made for the Black & Tan paint.
It was a very last minute decision. Up until 2 days ago we were getting a Ford but it had to be transferred from out of state and they refused to budge off of full MSRP. This kind of fell into our lap and was already bagged, lined and prepped.
