B&W 3300 installation settings?

I am preparing to install this hitch in my 2016 F 250, full length bed, factory set up for the hitch. I intend to tow a 2013 36rl. The rl is 150 miles away, so I dont have acces to it right now. The instructions show installation of the pivot arms at 1" or 3" inches behind the axle. I assume I would use the 1" position for my full length bed? For the height, should I use the highest (18 3/4") position, the medium (17 3/4") position, or the lowest (16 3/4") position?

My setup is that 1" behind the axle, Height had to adjusted once after the initial install, I think I had to move it up, based on a so called level ride height, but it is still a little low (front of the 5th wheel). Take your tools and torque wrench to you go to your RV... Will be a nice setup once your done. Good Luck!

X2, take your tools. I moved mine back so I could open the front Storage door when hooked up & lowered it so the RW was level. The Fords & Rams ride higher with deeper bed sides on the Fords so you'll have to experiment with what works for you & your truck. With your F250 I'd think the farther forward the better so it didn't squat the truck as badly, seems all Fords are squatted with any trailer on them, air bags will help.

Seriously, Danny, where does all of this hatin' on Fords come from? Did you have a bad experience in your youth?

Just so you know My Ford don't squat when you hook up the trailer only drops 2.5". I don't need any air bags. I had to put them on 2011 Chevy 3500 and the SOB 5er was only 11k with 2500lbs pin weight.
