That 14K would include the Genny, a single unit Combo Washer/Dryer and WinegardSlimLine SK3005 Dishall tanks empty, but would not include the batteries or full 40 Lb LP tanks.

Ok, that would make sense with some of those I saw that were weighed in at the 13,400 with quartz. the gen and W/D would add up the differnence quick on gross weight.

I think it's pretty cool that they dry weigh them at the factory and put it in the cabinet. Not too many manufacturers do that.

I can tell you that Lazy Days weighs all units new and used before you purchase. It is good to know exactly what it weighed before anything was put into the unit.

I was hoping you didn't see that Mike.......No seriously, it's that easy to pull. If it takes white knuckles to drive....you're doing something wrong. The trailer shouldn't ever fight the tow vehicle. If it does, that means the trailer is either too heavy for the truck, the suspension is too soft or the tires need air.

My RL weighed 13870 empty before the washer and dryer was added. My pin weight is around 4k which includes the extra 35 gallon aluminum fuel tank in the bed of the truck

Dave, what do you mean your pin weight includes the extra fuel tank?

I have an extra fuel tank in the bed of my truck made by "American Tank". This gives me around 70 gallons of diesel total and depending on the wind and the speed, I can go for a long ways without having to worry about sitting in line behind the big trucks at at the Pilot or Flying J truck stops.

Usually I can maintain between 11.5-12.5 mpg at 67 per hour which will give me around 500-600 miles while towing the Redwood (at 75 mph that drops to around 9.5-10 mpg) Solo I can go over 800 miles.

Where did you put your dish? I can't see it in your picture. I was going to have one installed and noticed the prewire cables come up onto the roof at the back between the ACs. I assume it would go there?

We have the slimline too but I had ours installed up in front. My thinking was it might be easier to miss an obstruction like a tree with the nose. So far it has worked outwell.

Any weight added to the bed of the truck is payload or pin weight even including the weight of the 5th wheel hitch in the bed of the truck.

Our 2012 36RL as weighed at the factor was 13416 lbs. We have most of the otions except washer/dryer and generator and none of that "extra heavy custom paint" paint job (Ha! ).

Hi Everyone,

We just picked up our 2013 6.7L Diesel F350 DRW Crewcab 4x4 Lariat with the integrated Reese hitch in a gorgeous Blue Jeans metallic color on Tuesday. What a vehicle!! It has more bells and whistles on it that we have to study the manual to know how to work everything. DRW was a no-brainer when we plan to pull a rig as large as the RW.

Our 2007 F350 DRW was having all sorts of issues. We had used the extended warranty 6 times over the last 3 years! We went back and forth on whether we should wait on the truck until after purchasing the RW but the truck was a 6.0L Diesel, one of the worst Ford put out, IMO. We would have had to upgrade the hitch since we only had a 16K hitch and it needed new tires. It just wasn't worth the few grand when we'd probably trade within a year or so anyway.

Thanks to everyone on the forum who talked about what truck to have. It helps to confirm what we were already looking at.

I think I'll go stare at the truck again.

Suzy & Ted

Congratulations on your new truck. The integrated Reese hitch is brilliant. So easy and quick to install and remove. When not required you have the entire bed clear.

I'm very happy for you and congrats on the new truck. It sounds like
it's equipped like mine and we absolutely love ours. You won't believe
how good that 6.7 pulls your RW. Now the fun begins with adding
accessories.

Congratulations on your new truck! We also purchased the F350 CC 4X4 Dually in Grey and we ordered our FB with the Black/Grey fill paint. the match is amazing!

What is the capacity of the hitch, did you get the 18K or the 25K?
