We've worked 13 sundays and holidays this year to get them out. If there paying double and triple time then there trying to get them to the dealers. Dodge's are easier, you hold them by the horns

Jim,
Is it because of the new F150?

No, we build super duty, expedition and navigater, super duty sales jumped up 10,000 in a month. Did you see the new tow ratings on the f-150? 12,200 and a payload of 3,300.

GA1817, I agree with you on the axle ratios. For my Fords, 4:10 and 4:30 have been the ratios of choice, anything less is pushing the engine temps when hill climbing and reducing the towing reserve. I don't think that getting a lesser ratio will improve the MPG either.

All of us Dodge owners know the secret, that if you want a true workhorse, it has to be a Cummins. I've also owned 4 Dodges, with Cummins, and I can say this.

^Just playing around. Everybody has a favorite setup. My favorite setup would be a Ford DRW, with a Cummins up front. That would be a dream machine. I always tell my buddies, "I'm not a Dodge fan, I'm a Cummins fan."

Actually, Alan Mulally, Ford CEO, that testified on behalf of his competitors to Congress must have known a secret also. He said if not for the help to his competitors, Ford would have died also.

Ford also borrowed some "taxpayer" money for electric, and other high mileage vehicles, the same month GM filed bankruptcy. That money might have bolstered it's survival, although not called a bailout.

I love Fords. I don't like when Ford guys bring up the bailout money, acting like they are better Americans for buying Ford, thinking Ford didn't take money at the same time.
