Has anyone ever heard of this... HELP

I had a problem with our toad a 2020 Denali Yukon XL. but i need to know if anyone has ever heard of this and i have been looking everywhere. When we first took delivery there was a shake in the front and rear as if the tires were unbalanced. 50 mph and over. went back they changed all 4 tires under warranty and took the truck for a drive. Still the same. Had the dealer change all 4 again but now to Michelin and still the same. Since then Michelin has replaced a total of 6 tires as they were not spec on the road force machine. Still a problem. I have the best balanced tires ever made. Well 3 days ago I took it to an OK Tire outlet in Baden Ontario. They do all types of tires including work for ERB Transport. After re balancing all the tires again and still no better. They decided there must be something mechanical and they started checking the drive shaft, ball joints and so on. Then when they decided to take off the tires again to see if they were seating on the rotors they found the problem.....after 22 tires in 6500 miles

Someone had put a flat washer on the wheel stud between the rotor and Mag so the mag was not fitting flat on the rotor. The mag and tire had a wobble.
HELP Has anyone ever heard of this and why.

Sounds like a sick joke from some bored employee at the MFR.

Seems odd that it was there at all & even more odd that after that many times the wheels had to be removed that no one noticed that washer before?
Hopefully after that many times torqueing the wheels it hasn't been warped & the wobble continues.

BIL had a similar problem number of years ago with a Mini Van, went through many re-balancing and new tires, finally found out they had a bad Wheel Cover causing the vibration. So I guess that anything is possible
