I told you guys these things are heavy and really need a dually or bigger to handle the weight. We're a little over 4K pin weight with only approx a 1/3 tank of water.

There's more involved than just cargo cap (ours is 6055). Our TV is 9K plus/minus and with 4K pin it puts us right at the max GVWR of 13K, our GCWR is 29.2K so we're under everything, but really pushing the GVWR.

My total weight gross weight is 26,500 (both fuel tanks full at a CAT scale 1/3 tank of fresh and black) and my truck is rated for 30,000lbs. This gives me a 3400 lb leeway so I think the rig is perfect.
According to the book my cargo capacity is 5990 with the max trailer at 21,500. I think the newer Ford F350 is a little higher. What's surprising is the max cargo of a F450 is 5,260 (730 lbs less than the F350) but it has a max trailer of 24,500(4.30 rear differential).
Dodge has always been lighter in their payloads and towing capacities. GM has usually been higher than Ford.

It looks like the axles took 500 lbs of the water. My axle weight went up to 12,900, which was 500 lbs heavier than the last weight.

My 08 F350 is no where near that. My cargo on the sticker in the door is 4320. The GVWR is 13000, and the truck loaded actually weighs 9140, so it's even a little less than that. However - its the tire rating and axle rating that I was most worried about.
