Help with MORryde and Logistics
For those of you who had the MOR/ryde IS installed BEFORE getting the coach from the dealer, how did it get from the manufacturer to MOR/ryde??
I assume it then went directly to the dealer??

I'm the only one that I know of that had it happen and that was in Jan 2015. I worked a deal with RW to send my 39MB to MORryde prior to Paint, once IS completed it was picked up and taken to Paint, then back to RW for final inspection and shipment. Now the deal I worked out included me paying MORryde directly, keeping RW out of the money loop. It didn't hurt that RW was looking at MORryde as a possible additional supplier, but don't think anything ever came about because RW/CR are so ingrained into Lippert for almost everything.

My feeling is the dealer will get it done post build receive the trailer then send it to Elkhart and back again. Did you see if Tiara has anything you would by , they are 6 miles for the service plant on Sterling ave. They have some in stock and I am sure you could order one. While I was in Elkhart I had a LP tank hose fail and I stopped over there. I was really surprised to see every one that works internet sales in the office with there young children almost like a office day care. seams like a family run operation that thinks outside the box.

No question after looking at the photos, its basicly a parts RV at this point. Generator will sell for less then the price to haul it to the salvage yard
short of cutting the slided off its more then likely going to need a wide load escort to where ever its going. over 12' wide needs 2 escort cars and can NOT be moved during rush hour times in city areas.

The 6.5 Onan was not on the build sheet, thus it was not part of the claim... That is on a rolling cart in my driveway waiting for it's new home...
The new one will be ready to leave Redwood mid week... NOW I need MOR/ryde to help with timing....
Want to take the snap pads off, but not sue the salvage guys will allow me to do so when they show up to take IT AWAY... all the jacks are down

If I were betting money I'd bet the guy/guys that show up to haul it off will not give a rats patootie what you take off of it, I'd bet they work for a trucking company that's just been hired to haul it off, so take the pads off.

Color me confused. But I'm new to this and that's not hard. All y'all keep talking about installing MORryde IS on your rigs here on this forum. My 2019 3901WB came with this....I was kind of assuming they were all coming with it now. Or is this something else? Also came with a MORryde pin box. I bought it like this straight off the dealer lot. Since it has Redwoods name stamped on it I assume it's factory.

That is straight from Morryde, but NOT the IS system.... The IS is much more robust, and eliminates ALL springs, hangers, shackles, ect... It is as close to riding on air as possible..
It is a 100% Independent Suspension that gives each wheel 5-1/2" of movement separate form the others.
I will look for a few of my pics from my last install on the previous RW to show you what it is...

That is the MORryde LRE, which is Keystone's influence on Redwood. Keystone has used the LRE on the larger 5ers for years. Our Montana had it back in 07. It's a pretty nice system - it is an equalizer as well as a rubber shear that extends the travel of the equalizer beyond what a traditional one can do. You will get more tipping when crabbing through an intersection with deep crowns and drainage.
LRE4000 & RE Suspension System - MORryde Products
It's good to see Redwood go to the Falcon 2 hype - which integrates MORryde into the design instead of being exclusive to Lippert like the original Falcon FIT.

Thanks for the replies, it clarifies a lot. I have a lot of mechanical experience but it's all with stuff that's stationary, I have no experience with "rolling stock". Suspension systems are kind of interesting.
At the moment we plan on being somewhat stationary but if we start moving around more I'll keep all this in mind. I think I need to dump the Chinese tires first.....
