This is good news!
I would guess it's not the dealer that puts on the 'actual' weight sticker.
They probably have no interest in doing that, my guess would be the mfg.

And they put mine in an odd place, on the inside of the entry screen doors plastic slider - wife didn't like the looks of that

Ours is in the same place, I would agree not the best place, we see it every time we go out the door.

Yep, you should not exceed the GVWR weight shown on the Manufacturers label.
In addition you should not exceed each axle's weight and each tire's weight rating.
This is one reason we want to get weighed with individual wheel weight numbers.
RV's rarely have balanced weight side to side, front to rear.
On our last 5er we had it weighted with scales under each tire / wheel.
I was surprised at the difference between each tire / wheel weight.
There was about 300 to 400 lbs. difference from tire / wheel to tire / wheel.
Knowing this info will help you pack some of the heavier items in your RV and balance the load more evenly.

Well, I added a second battery up front and ran with fresh water tank a little over half full, our trip down to Tampa was much more pleasant than past trips.
The increase in pin weight kept our GMC firmly planted on the road.
Did not get the violent bounce when entering and exiting bridges and hitting rough spots in the road.
I guess the extra pin weight was enough to keep the truck on the overload springs and not bouncing off them at every bump or bridge.

Rob - can't remember - do you have Airbags on the truck ? If not, get them. Will stop virtually all the chucking if paired with the TrailAir hitch with the air ride.
