Yep, I think we've reached the can't top this status.
One question though, how do you get around town with that when not towing, I have a hard enough time navigating and parking with my dually, I can't imaging trying to find a parking place for that...

Great setup Don! Really matches perfect!
I think they are easier to get around town in from the folks that I have talked to. They turn alittle tighter and are no wider then our duallys. I think this will be our next truck.
Cant wait to see it at the Rally. You are coming to the rally?

Holy Cow, that IS quite the ultimate rig! They sure don't come any "eliter" than that! You could buy my TV and my second "gone exploring" car for the price of that ... And that's just what we did. Nice job!

I think the exterior dimensions on the MDT's are very close to the dually's.

We had a md extended cab Freightliner when we first went fulltime. That's the only vehicle we had when on the road, so had to use it for getting around town. It looked bigger, but had a 168 wheelbase, about the same as a 4 door pickup. It would fit in a Walmart parking space.

Let me start out by saying I have had some good Fords over the years. I gave them a lot of consideration before buying my GMC. The way I figure it if I am going to spend the same amount of money I should get the same amount of warranty. Plus my brother and son are mechanics in the military told me every time they go on a convoy It not make any difference if they took one Ford or five fords one of them was breaking down. I need my truck on the road not in the shop. Fuel filters are easier to access.

Well I guess I would rather have a broken down Ford that contribute to that GM mess.
What does the military do when they get recalls on their vehicles? Ship them back, or just leave them there for the enemy to capture?

Brad, apparently your daughter had a better idea!! Lol, maybe she'll let you ride in it.
Articman, I agree, if you have a Ford better have a good mechanic, IMHO from years of driving them.

I have the only GM truck in our Family.
My two BIL's drive Fords (1 has a F250, 1 has a F350)
My Brother drives a Ford F350
My SIL drives a Dodge Ram.
That's ok I still like my GMC 3500HD, it gets the job done and has been dependable.

That should be a great RV puller and a beautiful truck. I hope it brings you miles of happiness.

This may be of interest to us Ford owners...
Ford abandons practice of removing items to boost pickup payload ratings

Ford abandons practice of removing items to boost pickup payload ratingsFord said it will abandon its practice of stripping removable items from its pickups to boost their payload ratings and will join competitors in using base curb weights. The automaker also said today that it will state the maximum towing rating for the 2015 F-450 using the industry's SAE J2807 towing standard.
