Yep.....my chevy toad has to go in within the next couple of weeks. It works great as a toad but I sure miss the ford.

Just looked at a F150 Platimum - over $65K Jee zoots, that's more than what the super duty was a couple of years ago.
We just got 8.5 mpg over 2,500 miles with our 400 Cummins towing the Jeep. Not a lot different than our Superduty got towing. Would have to add about 10 gal of DEF to that cost I guess.

If you had to add 10 gallons of DEF in 2500 miles you had something bad wrong, my square rendered truck uses approximately 2.5 gallons in 3000-3500 miles.

oh I doubt it. I was generalizing a bit because I didn't expect anyone to have their calculator out - 3,154 miles total, 7.5 gallons DEF, 371 gallons of fuel. That's 2% which about on the mark with what Cummins says for an 8.9L ISL.
You just have a puny exhaust filter

Steve, just a FYI. Berkshire is not owned by Thor, it's owned by Forest River.

Brad and Dave - just for something to chew on and think about - in the Marine world, that same ISL that you all have is commonly turned up to 600 and also 660 hp by Cummins. Runs all day long at 90%. Rule of thumb is we put them on the pins wide open in the morning for 60 seconds to see what it will pull that day and then back off 250 rpm and if the water is runnable at that speed, that's where she sits for 10-12 hours.
Think of how much fun the coach would be with another 200 hp and lord knows how much more torque !

Vaughan, let's dial it up and try a few times over the Rockies If the feds are going to regulate top speed to 65 mph, might as well have fun getting there!

With a supply of cold water for cooling and no risk of lugging it's safer at that fuel delivery

OPPS!!! We looked at three that day and guess I confused them.
Thought this one was the best for the $'s they were asking.
