Atom,
I can clearly see mine without the headrest, but I'm also 6'4" and my head touches the headliner so maybe my perspective is a little different.

I have a different type of retractable cover but I can see my hitch with the head rest removed too.

A different perspective for sure I'm 5'8" and need a booster seat! hahahaha

I do have my hitch at the lowest setting because that tri-glide is a monster.

same here AA...
between the tri-glide, the pullrite super slider hitch, I prefer to call it my "low seat height"...
I can line it up with the pin, but the pin height is a guess when I can't hit the left and right arrows to return to last unhitched height...

Which cover do you have?

Tonno Pro. I have had other toppers, and they were good, but I decided on this one because it is inexpensive, easy to install, and easy to take off if I need to.

Dan - I actually have a tonno-pro trifold in my storage building from the previous truck...
Like it a lot more than the one that came on my platinum from Ford...

Yeah John, I really like how inexpensive and simplistic my cover is. I just wanted something to cover my hitch since I didn't want to take it out. What do you have on your Ford?

I went in to get a new 350 and someone had ordered this one and bailed before it came in.... Since I had bought 3 cars from them the last year, they gave me a great deal on it even though it had some things on it I would not have gotten... (like the Ford emblemed OEM roll up tonno cover)

It's hard to see in the pic,
but it has a snap lock at the rear and velcro down the sides... will have to find a better pic...
Have been meaning to replace it with the tonno-pro, but so far just haven't taken the time to do it

Nice looking truck John. Is the platinum trim the top of the food chain for the Ford trucks?

I see Roll-N-Lock just introduced an all aluminum version of the cover like some other brands. A series - but I don't see where it is available for the superduty yet.

When a truck has a sticker of $65,000 it better have something nice on it.

All the nice things are what makes it a $65,000 truck.

Yep....I might be looking at the F450 later this year and I think it'll hit around the 70k mark.
