Tow Ratings Conventional vs 5th Wheel

Any idea why Ford shows different ratings for each when Ram does not?

who knows
maybe ram is being conservative on one and ford is not (or vice versa!)

I always thought there was a max pull rate for towable based on the max hitch rating, but looks like that can be a lot anymore.

I would think a 5th/goose hitch would be more than a "bumper" pull hitch. A couple of years ago the 3 truck companies were supposed to get together and use the same scale for ratings
