Has anybody put a trailer plug in at the hitch on the rear of their RW ? Just curious as most of us are way too long to be pulling a train anyway. Have not seen any wiring any place around the hitch either.

YaI think I'm going to have to add one. Probably just tap to the tailights.

I looked for one but could not find it. I am sure there is either a connection or a harness available. A good question for RW.

It was attached to my hitch. Since I don't use it I tucked it up under the hitch and taped it off out of the way.

Wow, wonder if it was something they did in 2012 but do no longer? Or maybe I just need to look closer.

I remember seeing someone at Rally that had a brake light on there hitch and it was plugged into wiring harness. Unfortunately I do not remember who's unit I seen it on.

I've got a 12 RL and it has the plug. When I was at the rally, I asked one of the RW people if it was tapped into the lights or was it run back from the 12v. box where the trailer plug is connected.I was thinking about using it to power a cord reel. They said they don't put a plug on any more because they don't want you towing with it. I said mine came with a plug, and they said it was wired into the rear lights.

Mine is a VERY EARLY 2012 36FL, someone taped the tow plug to the hitch with black Electric tape. I didn't know what it was there, tape came loose, now I have a short pigtail. Going to use plug for lights on trailer hauler, after I fix the connector.

Bruce.........that was my unit. I was sitting right next to you at the Twin Mills CG. I saw that tail light adapter for the hitch receiver and thought it to be a good idea since I had the wiring available already.

Homeguy, we can't let all of the secrets out. If you really want to know what is served, check out the rally next year.
