Just remember, the new breed of 1/2 tons with a Diesel motor will be able to pull anything. At least that's probably what the Salemen/women will be telling customers.

Anyway, back to the original post of this thread: We looked at the Landmark 365 and it had some nice features, but for our money it just didn't have the effective use of space as our MB, but we did give it a long look.

I looked at the 365 and thought it was a nice trailer. I like the double bedroom slide in our RW. It gives us lots of room and we don't that a slide sticking out into the patio area on the other side.

I see lot of half tons here in Oregon towing the Cougar lite 5er's. I am not impressed at all with the build of the Cougar. Would be a big step down from a RW

365

My wife and I really liked the 365 Syracuse but she still likes the 31sl interior colors ( putty ) and I like the larger shower. One thing I am kinda disapointed in with redwood is that the 31sl model is soo hard to find one with the new rear layout to see. They still call them 2016 rw31sl but have no rear window, go figure. As well the online brochure and pics are not true as the gallery has more 36 pics in the 31 space ....very misleading.
The landmark site is much more accurate. Still like the redwoods though....and they are quite a bit lighter.

Was the Cougar supposed to be an alternative to RW? I was just saying it is a nice unit for towing with a 1/2 ton. Kind of wish my daughter would look at one, or the Laredo.

Exploreusa in Austin TX has the one you may be looking for. It is the newer 31SL with putty interior. They have pics on line. The reason they have 2 different looking models for the same year is because they change the year and design half way through the year and then they make additional changes around the beginning of the year so every model can have 2 different looks but be called the same year depending on what month it is manufactured.

No, Cougar is no way close to a RW it is on the low end of 5er's.
