I've sent him a few IMs because he was having an electrical issue, but never heard back.

This the best web site I have for triple towing laws and it includes which states offer reciprocity.

My home state of MI total length for triple is 75 feet and you can only tow behind a fifth wheel. Also you have to have a special endorsement.

A fellow came into the park with a CCLB SRW Ford pulling what had to be a 32-35' bumper pull with a utility trailer about 10+' with a golf cart on it, looked like a freight train, don't know how he turned a corner.

Bumper pulls track straight through the turns. Maybe the golf cart tracked nicely right behind it.

Still would be an interesting site for sure!

Because the center trailer pivots in the center (not like a semi), the turn is actually pretty sweet. Once you clear the curb with the center trailer wheels, the back trailer is way out on the arc because of the tail swing. Same if tripling with a 5er in the middle.

Don't think I'd like to try it. Seems like it took 10 minutes for him to go by!! Had to be way over length in any state.

I hear ya travelin Texan, although I did it for several years.

I had to call the ranger on this one - he loaded the boat on the back of his trailer, and when hooking up his trailer on his step bumper there was a loud "POP" and the bumper mount broke on one side so it was hanging down. He grumbled, thought about it, then put HIS WIFE AND KIDS in the TRAILER and started down the road. I said "not on my watch!" and the ranger stopped him before he got out of the park.

We pull a snowmobile trailer with the golf cart on it behind our 36RE, have not pulled the tape on it but its got to be crowding the 75 foot mark +/- hooked behind cclb.

In most states you can pull doubles but the front trailer has to be either a goose neck or 5th wheel.

The rules in Texas are very vague, but that's the way it reads to me, but some people can get away a lot than I can, I'd be like Atoms pics & get nailed before leaving the driveway.

Triples are ok in Texas, but max length is 65 -
so even a side loading golf cart trailer will be stretching the legal limits

but MANY do it anyway - and the over length laws are not one that is reciprocated among states... if you are legal in yours, you can still be ticketed next state without special permits.

Texas has reciprocity so if your home state allows 75 feet like my home state of MI your okay.

I guess I must be in triple tow heaven, saw a Ford dually driving opposite direction with a 30-35' 5er dragging a 25+/- bumper pull. Guess that way the hole family can go camping in one TV??
