I would like to swap out the slider hitch and go with the stationary Curt legs. Has anyone done this or has anyone had issues backing and or turning their Redwood with a short bed truck. Thanks for the response.

On my prior fifth wheel, I towed with a 2004 Dodge 2500 diesel short bed and also installed a slider hitch which I never used. This was a major issue before the manufacturers started redesigning their front caps to accommodate the turns. You still must be very vigilant when turning but when I bought my Redwood I changed the slider out to a stationary hitch and then eventually, switched to a Ford F350 long bed.
