2013 Redwood 36FL

We bought this coach to live in while our home was being remodeled. Remodel is nearly complete, so we will soon no longer have a need for it. Other than delivery to our home, this coach has no miles on it. It is a very unique front living room design which we prefer to the traditional front bedroom. Five slide outs give this 5th wheel an open spacious floor plan. Redwood was created to serve the baby boomer market with a full high-quality, full-time residential Fifth Wheel at an affordable price. This coach has been well maintained and is in great condition have lived its life under a steel Versatube carport. Awning is like new, having never been used. MSRP for this unit when new was $134,669. NADA average retail is $82,690 Asking $71,900 OBO.

When I was ordering my coach I contacted Carefree, the awning supplier that Redwood used for my coach, and found out the they supplied an upgraded aluminum awning cover. Redwood was able to order it with the aluminum cover as part of the build for my unit (for an additional cost).

You may want to reach out to Carefree to see if it is possible to retrofit an aluminum cover.

It was a factory option called "Unagard". I don't know if they can be retrofitted without changing the fabric, because the fabric would be shorter to allow for the cover, but maybe worth a call to Carefree of Colorado.

I wish my shower was that color. Why did Redwood switch back to white? Or is the color an option?

I think the 2013's were the last year with that color of shower.

I was told by the factory rep that there too many complaints about keeping the dark showers clean, in 3 years we haven't noticed that to be a problem.

I'm officially a 2014, but manufactured May 2013 and I have the....non-white shower (I wouldn't begin to guess what color it is). I also still have the brushed nickel soap dish that peals - I think they went to clear plastic shortly after.

Upgrading my shower is one the things I had on my list. After seeing the picture of the 2013 Shower, I will probably do it. On the GK the shower is sort of open for every one to see.

I do remember that when we were looking - told my wife I liked it! I told her it was a great bird cage for her to dance in go-go boots

I believe the bath area on the FB is the same as the GK & that's the reason we chose it was to get the big shower. DW said she loves the dark shower & hates the white, I have to agree the white shower sort of cheapened up the looks of the whole bath area.

Also that could/would be quite a job to upgrade the shower stall, they are put in place before the exterior walls are hung, along with everything else on the interior.

That just sucks. Even before I saw that shower picture I had been looking for an upgrade. It is a standard size. The current shower just does not look as good as the rest of the unit. Maybe smoke glass would help.

I agree - I was really disappointed when they went to the white shower and took the wood off of the walls around the bathroom and bedroom.

Not a big fan of our White Shower, liked the previous Shower color better but I am a big fan of our "Waterfall" Glass instead of the Clear Glass.
Guess you cannot have everything !!!

That seems to be the way RVs have always been - a trade off each year by gaining something new you like but losing something else.

I totally agree. I didn't like the change to
white and eliminating the wood walls. I also hate all the countertops they now offer. I love the Quartz that I have and it would be difficult for me to go to anything else. Too bad they are not at least still an option. Too each his own.
