I didn't really push selling it. I went back and forth, trying to talk myself out of selling, but we just didn't need anything that big anymore. I finally put it on RV trader a little over a month before getting that deposit. I kept it here for a month after the deposit, and got sick every time I saw it outside. I had 3 legit hits from RV trader, and the last guy bought it. I referred this to this site for help. They are a super nice couple, if they show up here. I pick up my downsized rig Saturday morning, and since most RVs are pretty much the same, I'll continue to ask for general help. This forum is too good to leave.

Just read this post. We are considering purchasing a 3401RL from Colerain in Indianapolis. Facebook owners forum is slapping Redwood pretty hard about RV and service problems. What has been your experience? Would you buy another Redwood?

The short answer is that all RVs have problems to some degree or another and you need to prepare yourself for that fact. Not to be a smart guy, but the more you know about the mechanical systems, the less those repairs will cost. With that expectation, be absolutely certain you can trust your dealer to work on your behalf. If you don't have a good dealer, your experience can go downhill very, very fast.

I have mixed feelings about this dealership. I bought my Entegra there and we were able to settle on a price but later I discovered some things I didn't like. When I picked the unit up I noticed som black sealant around the skylight. When I asked about it, I was told they didn't know anything about it and for me to mention it when I did the PDI at the factory and they would clean it up.

During my PDI the skylight had to be replaced because someone had covered up cracks with black sealant. I told the service tech that this was how I had bought it and he about blew a gasket. Most of the items I needed that dealership to fix they forwarded me to the factory.

I dealt with Colerain in Cinci, and loved them. My rv only had a few minor problems, and they fixed them pronto. Yes, I would own another RW, as it was the best rig I have ever had. All rvs have problems, but this one had only minor issues, and was a very nice unit.

We purchased from Colerain in Indianapolis in October of last year. We feel like we were treated very well there. We have not had to use their service department, so I can not comment on that. We are very pleased with our "2017" (probably truly a 2016 version) Sequioa, 38MBS. We have only had it out 3 times last year before putting it in storage. Starting to use it again at the end of the month. We are part-time for the next few years.
