Ford Navigation map update SD cards
Have a few extra nav sd cards I wanted to offer here before I put them on the ford sites...
Two are the latest A5 map update version and two are the A4 previous version.
$75 each for the A5's
$50 each for the A4's

What's the difference between this and the V7.0X disc?

Not familiar with a V7.0X disc - so dunno 
This is solely a map update and I got a chance to test it yesterday and it does have a newer road here in the dfw area on it... so I'm happy with it...

These are for the '13 and up Super Duty Nav systems. The Sync systems. I think the '12's had a different system.
Sounds like the '16's might yet get another variety with the Sync going by the wayside...

lwg, sorry not sure what you mean when you say "These" are for the 13 and up ? which these
I know the cards I have work in our 13 superduty and 13 explorer sport... and will work in ANY ford nav system that accepts an sd card ...

You're correct, these work with any nav that uses the SD cards. Ford started this in the Super Duties in 2013, but other Ford models earlier.

Finally got off travel long enough to go see what was in the truck and it was an A4. Took about 30 minutes to update MyFordTouch or sync, or whatever it was. Took about 9 updates.
Wasn't sure on shipping - I sent you a reply.

Ha Ha - that sync site can get you down the rabbit hole and lost pretty quickly... but they actually did a good thing putting the maps on an sd card that you just pull out and it's printed on the sd card then plug the new one in restart and you should see the new maps !
i am in 76140 - so not sure about shipping either - but can't be much... $4 ????

Looks like Ford is dropping sync. There seems to be a lot of the higher end autos going with apples carplay. Android and apple are really trying to get in there. I hope most of the auto industry goes with apple (USA), the "other" autos like Hyundai and Kia can go with Android (South Korea)

Ford announced last summer they were dropping Microsoft in favor of Blackberry for their Nav system. Not sure they opted for an improvement at this point.

Thank goodness Ford went with Blackberry and not Apple! Would have to buy a new truck every two months to stay current, with little to no change, and they would bend when you sat in them .

Looks like Blackberry is teaming up with android to try and challenge Apple. Right now Apples Carplay is far ahead of Androids, android Auto
Ha Ha Brad once you go down the iHole you will never look back
One thing about Apple you know everything will sync together .
You know when you hook up your Redwood the truck wouldn't just go blank as it dosent know what to do
