Ron's Disk Brake conversion went well, he had a fair number of attendees watching and asking a lot of questions.

The Roof coating went well too, the weather cooperated for the Roof coating days.

In reality Shane I watched the guys working on the Roof job from the ground, I have not been up on top of the rig to actually see the Roof application.
I am sure it is a nice job and the owners will be happy with their new durable, leak free roof.
On another note, we did get to see the roof material that is installed on the Redwood product at the vendor presentation and again during the plant tour, I was surprised, it was a thicker more durable product than I expected.

Totally agree and in addition, for me the ROG meeting were most helpful. Next year I will do my best to break Carol away from her work as she would have really enjoyed meeting ROG folks and participating in the activities. Many thanks to you for your tireless assistance with my brake issues and sharing your technical insights.

To all of you that had your rigs weighed. Would you be kind enough to post your weights with model# and mabybe if fulltime or not so the rest of the group that hasn't had a chance to weigh theirs can get an idea of what they have. Also would be interesting to see the individual tire weights for each model. I am full timing in ours and will get it weighed when we pull out at the end of the month.
Thanks again

I agree Rob.............Ron's brake conversion went well. There were 8 to 10 persons attending at the peak. It took about 5 hours including a short lunch break for the installers. Ron had all the components layed out so the folks could view everything. It was interesting to see the the actual installation, the packing of the bearings, the mounting of the hardware, the bleeding of the brake lines, the jacking and supporting of the trailer and suspension system while the techs worked on everything.

As a result of having had the opportunity to see all of this, I now have confidence to tackle an upgrade on the suspension system on my 36RL.

Thanks to Ron for setting up this installation demonstration at the Rally. And BIG THANKS Ron for all of your help with the brake issue I had at the Rally. It was great meeting you.

Out of curiosity, how are people generally made aware of the Redwood Rallies besides this and the other forum? We did not receive an invitation or notification of any kind...

No invitations as far as I know. Word is spread through the forum and I believe it has been on Redwood's website since last year's rally.

It was the 4th rally. At least the last 3 have been during the same time frame. I can't speak to the very first one as we didn't own back then.

Based upon making the signs and adding forum handles when we had the information, Vaughan would guess about 60% of the attendees are on the forum. I think that number is probably a little higher. I did speak with one couple who were not familiar with either forum and only found out about the rally 2 weeks ago when they were at the Redwood customer service center.

Interesting, Thanks. I think that is about what I would have guessed.

RW GVWR = 16,000

Our unit has separate W&D, 6.5 KW Onan gen, sat, 2- heat pumps, 2-40 LB propane tanks, 3-cm thick granite counter tops, DW, second awning, toppers and all the upgrade packages except the 8K axles, residential fridge and G/H tires.

Here are our weights from Smart Weigh:
38RL RW (We full time):
RF-2,600; LF-3300; RR-3,300; LR-3,700 for a total = 12,900 LBS (empty tanks)
Pin weight = 3,110 LBS
Pin Weight + Axle weights= 16,010
RW GVWR = 16,500

We regularly get our rig weighed on CAT scales at Truck Stops. The Smart Weigh numbers were consistent with CAT scales. (Good information to get regularly)
CAT scales will give axles weights only. Smart weigh gave us per wheel weights, which is good to know so that we can redistribute weight if we need to.

George - is that close to what Redwood weighed you in at?

I'm surprised to see the rear axles heavier on both rigs - I thought the equalizer did more to equalize that.
