New to forum
We are new to the RW family ownership and new to this forum. We have a 2017 40ft 3921 Gk. We got it in April of this year and have a list of small but irritating problems that have come up. Biggest is the converter stopped working after the second time. And looks like bad wiring on tail lifts. Very dim right light and no back up lights on right side. Some minor problems that can be fixed quickly once we get back to the dealer. Anyway we enjoy the helpful advise on this blog.

Thank you we've been reading the treads and they are helpful. We've been a little over 11,000 miles since we picked up our RW in April of this year.

I don't know your experience level, but there are fuses on the converter you can check.

My husband is pretty good with things. Where are the fuses and I'll have him check those if that's the case that's just one less thing we have to get repaired at the dealership in a few days.

Hubby says converter comes on but says we don't have enough battery power for it to stay on. This is after being on shore power for days.

Some confusion here. Once you unplug from shore the "converter" won't run, it converts 120 volt to 12 volts & charges your batteries. If you have residential fridge you'll have an "inverter" that inverts 12 volts to 120 volts to power the fridge, which probably has fuses also. If RW still does it & your dealer didn't change it, most likely you have 1 el cheapo shipping battery when you should at least have 2 (maybe 3 with residential fridge) identical good deep cycle batteries, check your battery boxes.

It sounds like a battery, or battery charging problem. The inverter that powers the res. fridge when unhooked from shore power will shut down when the battery voltage gets below a certain threshold. I have two 12v group 27 batteries and they will power the fridge at least 8 hours. I haven't tested them any longer than that. The inverter does have input and output circuit breakers that can be reset.

I paid extra for 2 higher grade group 31 batteries... There were no names, black box, no markings, nothing.. BUT LOOKED GOOD ! ! !
They lasted 2 years, THATS IT !
Now I have 2 Life Line Group 31, AGM batteries, and am happy...

Hubby thinks the batteries are not charging well. We have some other minor problems with the rig that our dealer has said they will fix. We will take it back in after we get back from Colorado next month. Hopefully every thing will be good after that. We do love the unit !!

Our had two batteries installed when we took possession, after a couple months of use they would not hold a charge and this is after I installed a master cut off switch to avoid batteries draining completely when parked as unit will do with only factory installed cut off, we were still working at that time.
My brother in law did a load test and both batteries were weak, so replaced with good deep cycle Interstate batteries, that was in 2015, have had no problem with them other than standard maintenance.
As they say Don't Worry Be Happy.
