Actually went through Augusta's manufacturing plant end of Sept. and wondered then about potential buyout. Their location is not along any major corridors, thus they lack traffic flow and visibility. The display models were also very inadequate at that time and buildings looked in need of updating. Of course, when we asked about the potential of a buyout, Augusta reps were quick to declare their strengths and denied that their owner would sell. Fast forward to Nov. 9th, Augusta is purchased by RV Factory, who also sell direct. This may a good temporary fit for both. Question now remains, how long will it be before RV Factory is bought out by THOR or Forest River?
